Johan Marais Partner - Corporate Finance
Johan joined Mazars in 2012 as part of a merger of a group of partners and staff from Grant Thornton Cape Town.
Johan joined as a manager in the corporate finance division and was promoted to Director in 2017 and Partner in 2019.
Experience
Johan's corporate finance experience includes three years managing the corporate finance department of Grant Thornton, Cape Town and has led the Mazars Corporate Finance department since 2016.
Johan has experience in valuations, due diligence and sell-side advisory services for listed and unlisted businesses. He has been involved in corporate finance transactions in the following sectors:
