William Hughes Business Sustainability Consultant

William has 32 years’ experience in business, including running his own farm in Zimbabwe and as Vice President of the Commercial Farmers Union from 1999 – 2002, has first-hand experience in dealing with the delicate issues of land, land reform and farming politics.

William’s farm was expropriated in 2003 and he moved to South Africa, where he built Impahla Clothing from a small business with 40 employees to a business in its peak of over 400 employees operating out of three sites.

William is no longer involved with Impahla, but the major driver of the growth was down in the main, to the implementation of a Business Sustainability strategy.

William has joined the team at Mazars to assist in the set up and implementation of a Business Sustainability Service Line.
