Tertius Erasmus

Tertius is Managing Partner of the Mazars Durban office. Previously he was an audit partner in the Public Interest Entities, Owner Managed Businesses and business advisory divisions in the Durban office. His local functions are to oversee business development and he also sits on the National Public Interest Entity Country Business Unit.


Tertius matriculated in 1998 from Afrikaans Hoërskool Durban Noord. He then enrolled at Varsity College and Unisa for a BCompt degree while serving his training contract at a small firm in Durban. He completed his training contract in 2004 and went on to achieve his BCompt (Hons) in 2005. He passed the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors’ final qualifying exam in 2007.
