Maggie Cassan

Maggie is an audit partner in the Owner Manager Business (OMB) division. Her management function is to oversee the tax department of the Durban Office. She is also the Durban representative for the National OMB leaders committee.

Experience

Maggie has the following experience:

Maggie matriculated in 1987 from Sasolburg High School and after a ten year career in hospitality, enrolled at UNISA where she obtained her B.Compt degree in 2003 whilst serving her articles with Centner Levine & Co in Johannesburg. In 2004 she achieved her B.Compt (Hons) degree and passed her Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors’ final qualifying examination in 2006. She joined Mazars in 2005 and became a partner of Mazars in 2009.

Maggie’s function is to oversee all aspects of audits and is head of other outsourced services in the Durban office. 

Maggie is also the training officer for Mazars in the Durban office overseeing training for all levels of staff.
