Mazars Appoints New Audit Partner
Mazars is delighted to announce the appointment of their latest Mazarian, Yaseen Ismail, as Audit Partner effective 1 August 2010.
Yaseen is returning to Mazars after a 16 year absence, having completed his articles with the firm in 1994. Also joining Mazars are two members of Yaseen's team, Richard Chikeya (trainee accountant) and Raakhee Ooka (PA).
Yaseen is one of the founding partners of Datay Mohamed Ismail Chartered Accountants and serves on the Public Sector Committee of the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants (Southern region) as well as on the Education Committee of the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA). He has extensive experience in providing accounting, taxation, company secretarial and audit services to owner-managed businesses, and has also been significantly involved in performing audit work on both governmental departments as well as municipalities on behalf of the Auditor General.
